About High Definition On-Demand Printing High-definition on-demand printing is employed, combining the Giclee technique, which was introduced in the U.S. in the 1990s as a printmaking technique, with the color adjustment technology cultivated in plate-making and printing. Giclee means "spraying or atomizing" in French, and has become established as a new technique in the world of fine art printmaking, along with silkscreen and lithography. The image is created by spraying ultra-fine ink droplets, which allows the artist to express the subtle nuances of the artist's drawing while taking advantage of the texture of the paper.
