Text block clean, with minor signs of usage. Four leaves loose before the title page, including ffep with Beecher book plate, half-title page, and folding map. Spine rubbed. Both boards detached. Rare book, with no copies I could find of this or any other early edition offered for sale on line. The author was a secret agent, dispatched by the Duke to help instigate a new Crusade.
