THE ROMANCE OF THE COLORADO RIVER, by Frederick S. Dellenbaugh. Originally published in 1902. This facsimile edition issued by Time-Life in 1982. Book is in excellent condition, clean, and with very tight binding. I see no evidence that it was ever used/read. From a private library, and includes the original paper 1-page descriptive flyer and book plate issued by Time-Life. This volume is part of the 31 (or 32) volume Time-Life Series "Classics Of The Old West", which was published between 1980 and 1984. Each volume is beautifully bound in leather, with gold cover printing and gold page edges, and an attached yellow ribbon bookmark. Volumes are photographically reproduced facsimiles of first editions of original books which were published in the 1800's, and each volume preserves the historical authenticity of the original, including typographical errors and printing irregularities. Photos are of the actual volume which you'll receive. Item arrived on time. It was very well packaged assuring no damage from negligent USPS machines and handlers! This DVD also came with a four page color insert with liner notes and a catalog.
