Marshall's classic biography of Washington in the revised and abridged second edition but containing the first printing of the atlas volume. Three volumes total: two volumes of text plus the atlas. The two text volumes are bound in full 19th century leather, lacking the spine labels. The atlas volume is in the original boards but is ex-library and in only fair condition. All ten maps are present and none are marred by ex-libris marks. Scattered foxing to the text volumes. Overall good condition. Item #1237155 All three volumes are standard octavos. The ten maps in the atlas are all double page maps. This book is offered by Kubik Fine Books Ltd. Very well packaged. Better than some other sellers that just ship books in a Manila padded envelope. This seller had wrapped it in bubble wrap then placed in a box full of packed paper. Because of this extra careful attention the 139 year old book made it safe to its new forever home. The book arrived on time. As described. Great value for a book this old. The stain on front cover is exactly as described. I would prefer it to not have the stain but it definitely adds character.
