Introductory Geography in Readings and Recitations, William Swinton, American Book Company, N.Y., 1882, 118 pp. Many illustrations and 23 maps, most in color. Embossed cloth cover. Condition is good. Leather spine binding has a small tear and loss at the bottom edge. Back cover has a stain. Significant tanning on title page and initial page at back, apparently from an earlier protective cover. Last page appears to be missing, and current final page is torn and wrinkled, repaired with some transparent mending tissue to keep it in place. Binding is tight and pages are clean. Unusually good condition for a school book of this era. Measures about 9 1/4 inches by 7 1/2 inches. Ships in acid-free sleeve.
