Corners are bumped. See photos. Spines has gilt text and are a little sunned, with bumped ends. Bindings are firm; some cracking as at vol. 1, page 240. See photos. Pastedowns and feps have a few marks. Frontispieces are present; V. 1 is portrait of Sir Hudson Lowe, V. 2 is a view of Longwood, V. 3 also a view of Longwood has small closed tear at front edge.
