Description
Listed are Volumes III, IV, V, VI, and VIII of what was originally an eight volume set, published in Philadelphia in 1816 by Abraham Small and M. Carey. Described as the second American edition. Each volume appears complete, although I have not checked page for page and the books are being sold as is. Volume IV has a previous owners name written in ink on the title page, one of the volume VIII endpapers has a portion of the page missing however there is no text on this page. Volume III has an original map of Europe, the map has a few small holes on the folds but is in overall very good condition. Leather covers on each book are missing leather in various high wear spots, some leather is flaking, typical for books of this age, spines are in the worst condition, see the scans. Shipping to US only, if outside the US please contact me before bidding. I will ship by USPS media mail.
