Description
Here’s another rare early American gem. 1st edition, however, missing the important map and 2 plates and front cover detached, priced accordingly. Included is a copy of the 1868 edition containing the map and plates. An Historical Account of the Expedition Against the Ohio Indians, in the Year 1764, under the Command of Henry Bouquet, Esq… further, it is inscribed as John Baylor’s copy, which considering the importance of the work – I believe this copy belonged to John Baylor (1750-1808), in which his younger brother was George Baylor, George Washington’s aide-de-camp during the Revolutionary War.

The 1858 volume of Harpers Weekly was in the best condition i have ever seen a Harpers weekly. It looks like somebody time travelled to 1858 and came back to 2025. Even the leather spine was not even cracked. Leather over 160 years old and not cracked is amazing. The price was reasonable and was sent out fast. would buy from seller again when they again have something i am interested in.Seller communication is also first rate on answering any question
