Hardcover. Condition: Good-. ~1850 Tallis (London). Odd Volume - Volume VII. Heavily Illustrated with plates and maps. Covers scuffed, worn, with some sun damage, particularly near spine. Gilt lettering and design. Pale yellow endpapers. No date, estimated ~1850s no earlier than 1843. Pages unopened in latter half of book after illustrations. Corners bumped. A couple tears and rips along top of a few pages, but none that interfere with text. Small stamp on end board stating the volume was bound by Bone & Son. Some illustrated plates are coming loose (Though still attached). Mild foxing throughout. Well bound. Includes copious illustrations and multiple hand-coloured maps of English and Welsh towns and counties. Follows with a detailed, though brief, description of each town and village history and notable sites
