The shipping cost is what it is, shipping costs are based on the weight of the item using eBay's own prices, we can't change them. Most items are wrapped in bubblewrap and sandwiched between two pieces of cardboard and then shipped inside an eBay Tyvek envelope, if shipped Media Mail or First Class. Most Priority Mail items will shipped in a USPS supplied Priority Mail Box or envelope. The post office near us is closed on Saturday and Sunday. So, if your order is placed after 8pm Pacific time on Thursday it will not ship out until the next Monday. We will schedule a pickup on Saturday, but half the time the post office ignores the pickup requests. If any of this is not acceptable, then please do not purchase on any of our item's. First I must write that for being a vintage paperback, it was in excellent condition, which was true to the description and multiple pictures. Very good quality of the pics and the bought b ook. Not a bad price either. The response was quick, shipping was fast and the book was very well wrapped and packaged. All around a great experience, highly recommend this seller. A++! Thank you!

FAST SHIPPING! The book arrived in a cardboard box and in bubble wrap. The book was as described and the book looked barley used if at all. The price was to good to pass up. All in all, it was a pleasant experience. I would recommend this seller to anyone. Thank you
