The fair showcased technological innovations and cultural exhibits, attracting millions of visitors during the depths of the Great Depression. This lovely volume features maps reflecting the geopolitical landscape of the time as well as scientific information about the earth and solar system, islands and continents as well as a chapter on the fair and its attractions. Measures 10 1/4" x 7 3/8" with 108 numbered pages. Richly illustrated with Color and B&W images. Flexible burgundy faux leather wraps. The covers extend beyond the text block as show minimal wear.
