No writing on inscription page. Some pages have stains. There is some writing and highlighting inside but it is not excessive. Red letter edition. Bible is indexed - some of the index markers are different from the others. Faded gold gilded pages. Concordance, maps, and concise dictionary are at the end. Text is dark and clearly legible.
