This set was ordered at publication in 3 volumes with all the maps bound into the third volume, the bindings match other than volume 3 being bound in half leather w/ marbled boards; 8vo. All bindings solid and leather in very nice condition and now contained in custom slipcases. This set was presented to William Twining upon the occasion of passing his examinations at Rugby on Dec. 1830. The bookplate of HRB Tweed, 1915 on front paste down. The interior is clean and unmarked. The maps have extensive separation and some staining at the folds(see last photos). Shipping weight, well packed, is 6 1/2 lbs.
