You are bidding on 6 Antique 1780s-90 The Habitable World Described Trusler Maps, Desc of the World by Rev. Dr. John Trusler; Volumes 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, & 10. The books are Illustrated with full-page copper-plate engravings and folding maps. The title page reads: The habitable world described: or the present state of the people in all parts of the globe, from north to south; shewing the situation, extent, climate, productions, animals, & the different Kingdoms and states including all the new discoveries. " Some of which have never been described in this kingdom". a true view of the world in the 1780s. All of the books have the engravings, but not all of them have maps. The volumes are as follows: Vol 3 - 1879 Sweeden, Denmark, North America, California, Persia Vol 5 - 1788 Tungusians, Little Russia, Eastern Islands, China Vol 6 - 1790 Tartary Vol 7 - 1790 China, Sweden, North America Vol 9 - 1791 Transylvania, Germany, Austria, Saxony, Upper Rhine Vol 10 - 1791 Lower Rhine, Suabia ( southwestern Germany), Westfalia, Burgundy, United Netherlands They are in good used condition. The books are well bound. There is some cracking along some of the outside spine. There are aging spots. Vintage 1945 Booklet titled Electrical Living was received as described in listing. It was adapted from the film: The Dawn of Better Living, and was produced by Walt Disney Productions and the Westinghouse Electrical Company. The multiple layers of packaging used provided extremely good protection, and the order shipped very promptly. Definitely recommend this Seller. A+++++
