This copy numbered 36! Large 8vo, approx 26cm x 17cm, 28 prelims and 400 pages. B/w plates and ills, maps and plans. In a contemporary full leather binding, 5 raised bands, ornaments gilt within, titles gilt to morocco labels, returns with blind stamped dentelles, marbled and papers, top edge gilt other edges uncut. A very good copy, contents sound and tight, if a little toned with occasional foxing. Binding very good, if lightly rubbed and bumped and with one scuff to the top board at head.
