Grant, William T. Sherman and other generals. This is an extremely rare book and was sold only by subscription. It is a must for the civil war collector! Size: approximately 9” by 6 1/4”. About 2 3/8” thick. Condition report: fair to good. Spine separation and cover wear. Ripping and tearing of cover with some missing mostly along spine. Staining and foxing throughout. Beware of DHL. They tell you that your item has been delivered when it has not! Their website is most unhelpful. Thankfully..my seller was accommodating and helpful as far as they could be under these inconsistent delivery circumstances. This seller is patient and courteous. They helped me to stay focused and the item was delivered without explanation. The gods of good commerce looked favourably on this transaction and for that I am grateful. Who sent me an empty envelope and said, “he shipped it, the post office said it was delivered.” I his mind this absolved him of guilt.
