Includes 12 high quality plates on thick paper, two of which are tinted, 3 additional illustrations, 2 folding genealogical charts, folding maps of Noddle's Island and East Boston, both in fine condition, elaborate flower pattern in brown on endpapers, Original brown cloth boards (this is NOT an ex-library edition). Heavy volume. Contains 801 rough-cut pages. Measures 7 3/4" x 9 3/4". Boards in amazingly fine condition for it's advanced age w/ only mild wear, scratching & scoff marks, chipped paste down on spine, a few pen markings on front endpapers, mild spot staining on some pages, tightly bound, very good condition. Have not found another in this condition for sale on the internet. Would make an excellent gift, keepsake research aid or addition to a museum collection.
