William Patton, DD Published : Hartford, sumner & goodman , 1845 Binding: - beautiful full soft leather with gilt decorations, 3 thick spine bands, gilt page edges all around, & gilt trim to the back of the boards- stunning Size: = apx. 7.25" by 4.75" w/ 718 pages ---- NEW TESTAMENT ONLY---- & 2 fold-out maps of Palestine and Asia Minor [ St. Paul's Voyage to Rome ] Condition: Please zoom in on photos carefully as they are part of the description. I am human and sometimes miss a thing or 2, but I try to mention the book's main faults . all of my books are VERY OLD and have 100+ years of wear to varying degrees very good condition.... for its age -1845: boards - very secure, hardly any wear to the covers! textblock - pages very secure outer joints - very good spine ends - very good tips - good - worn a bit & touched up inner hinges - very good pages - generally clean with some sporadic small spotting - despite my pictures - I always try to show you the worse, there are apx 14 [of the 718] that I would call bad, and another maybe 10 -14 that are dirtier than usual. Most of them are as clean as the title page or picture #6 writing - none rips /folds - no rips that I saw - apx 22 small folds and a few very tiny bumped edges [ see picture #2, there are 2 very, very, tiny indentations - that's the bumped edges] other: - leather is still very soft, lovely to hold - a good solid book! -- A VERY NICE GEM FOR YOUR LIBRARY! please Add me to your Favorites list AND check back now and then to see what's new!
