This collection is one of the most important works on Texas history and a cornerstone to any collection on the Republic. Thomas Streeter considered the six maps "the most important in Texas History". Bound in modern morocco-backed cloth with gilt lettering on the spine. All six maps are present: the first and sixth map with a portion detached (but present) having broken off along a fold; some foxing to the maps and last few leaves.
