The eleventh edition of this work. Complete with two folding maps stored in pockets at the front and rear board, which have been rebacked on cloth, as well as a folding map in the text and one full plate illustration. Collated. CONDITION In a full calf binding. Externally, worn. Both boards are loose but present. Ownership inscriptions to each pastedown. Internally, firmly bound other than the boards. Pages are bright and clean. Maps have been rebacked on cloth. I bought this for the copy's associations with a family I'm interested in, thanks to the suggestions about provenance in the seller's description. The description and photos told me all I needed to know about the book - clearly the right family, though I have my own view on the individual who owned it - but that is part of the fund of an old book. It arrived promptly - a couple of days' delay caused by UPS - safely packaged and a good price, I think.
