To which is prefixed an accurate account of the geography and government of that country and the customs and manners of its inhabitants. CONDITION In a half calf binding. Externally, worn with rubbing and some bumping Joints cracked. Tidemarks to end papers and early pages. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright with patches of foxing and spotting throughout, but generally clean. Folding map is generally clean with edgewear and foxing to edges. I bought this for the copy's associations with a family I'm interested in, thanks to the suggestions about provenance in the seller's description. The description and photos told me all I needed to know about the book - clearly the right family, though I have my own view on the individual who owned it - but that is part of the fund of an old book. It arrived promptly - a couple of days' delay caused by UPS - safely packaged and a good price, I think.
